And the search officially begins..

Our lease on our apartment is up on Halloween of 2011. We are having some significant issues with the people upstairs (flooding their bathroom - which leaks into ours and replacing the hardwood floors at 10pm - without an approved contractor). At any rate we have started out search for a new apartment this week.

We are looking for 2-3 bedrooms in Astoria, if possible. If not, we will look to surrounding boroughs and neighborhoods.

The hubby has been contacting various real estate brokers and some by owner listings on Craigs List. At this point we aren't going to make any moves, unless a perfect place comes up since we have several months left on our lease.

We are ridiculously happy in our neighborhood and with our space so, it will take a pretty fabulous place to fill the shoes of our little "Urban Beach House".
